ANALGESICS AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AGENTS
Non-salicylates
* Acetaminophen maximum daily dose: 4g; acetaminophen maximum daily dose in those with hepatic impairment is 1.8g * Exercise caution when admiistering acetaminophen to those whith hepatic dysfunction * Chronic use of acetaminophen may lead to both nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity Salicylates
* Exercise caution when administering NSAIDS to those with renal dysfunction or those with hypertension * Separate aspirin and NSAID dose bytwo hours when possible.
* NSAIDS DO NOT have any antiplatelet properties.

HMG CoA Reductase Inhibitors
* When initiating a HMG COA Reductase Inhibitor obtain baseline LFT and Monitor Q 3 months Miscellaneous
* Patients may benefit from co-administration with aspirin to decrease flushing Cardiovascular Agents

* Serum quinidine concentration: 1-4 mcg/ml Beta-Blockers

* To adjust Coumadin dose: INR is < 2: Increase weekly warfarin dose by 5-20% INR is 3.0-3.5: Decrease weekly warfarin dose by 5-15% INR is 3.5-4.0: Consider holding 1dose and decrease weekly warfarin dose by 10-15% Nitrates
* When administerin Nitrate products,remember that a nitrate free interval needs to be incorporated to minimize tolerance Peripheral Vasodilators
