When a doctor prescribes a medication that is not covered by Medi-
caid, but is needed, the resident is responsible for that cost. Since our
residents are on a very limited budget, this can create a real hardship
for them. These medications might include: Tylenol, Tums, Claritin or
even Milk of Magnesia. We are very blessed with community support
as we have several organizations that are helping us with these costs!
