Inhalation.
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. For breathing difficulties oxygen may be necessary. If breathing stops, provide artificial respiration. Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention.
IngestionDO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Rinse mouth thoroughly. Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. Get medical attention immediately! If vomiting occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs.
Skin ContactRemove affected person from source of contamination. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash the skin immediately with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.
Eye ContactMake sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Contact physician if irritation persists.

Unusual Fire & Explosion HazardsProtection against fire/explosion: Combustible vapours heavier than air. May form explosive mixtures with air. Take measures to prevent electrostatic charges.
Specific HazardsThe product is flammable, and heating may generate vapours which may form explosive vapour/air mixtures.
Special Fire Fighting ProceduresAvoid breathing fire vapours. Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources. Dike for water control. Keep upwind. Shut down all possible sources of ignition. Keep all nearby vessels cool with water spray, but ensure that the water does not make contact with the liquid burning fuel. Extinguish fire with foam that the foam, is not broken by firemen and that the ground around the Branchman is covered with foam. Apply to potential fire hazards. DO NOT USE WATER JET. Spray or fog nozzles may be used.
Protective Measures In FireSelf contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures In case of inadequate ventilation, use respiratory protection. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Do not breathe vapour. After spillage / leakage: Shut off all possible sources of ignition. For small quantities: wear face-shield or goggles, and gloves for large quantities in excess of 5 gallons, wear breathing apparatus. Prevent liquid running to drains. Allow small volumes to evaporate or mop up with plenty of water and run to waste diluting greatly with running water. Remove large volumes by soaking up in sand or earth and remove to outside area. Ventilate area well to evaporate remaining liquid and dispel vapour. Clean area with large quantities of running water and run to process drain.
Do not discharge onto the ground or into water courses.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate. Clean-up personnel should use respiratory and/or liquid contact protection. Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers.
Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Handling requirements: Avoid direct contact with the substance. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area. Do not handle in a confined space. Avoid the formation or spread of mists in the air. Smoking is forbidden. Use non-sparking tools. Suitable packaging: Steel drums, Stainless steel, Copper, Polyethylene are suitable. Do not use aluminium containers.
7.2. Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities Flammable/combustible - Keep away from oxidisers, heat and flames. Storage conditions: Store in cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition. Prevent the build up of electrostatic charge in the immediate area. Ensure lighting and electrical equipment are not a source of ignition.

Promptly remove any clothing that becomes contaminated. Use appropriate skin cream to prevent drying of skin. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.

11.1. Information on toxicological effects Toxicological InformationWhen in a concentration of more than 50%, ethanol causes local mucosal lesions through dehydration and albumin precipitation. Absorption, which occurs swiftly from the gastrointestinal tract, causes euphoria, with subsequent dizziness, inebriation. paralysis, diminished reflex excitability, cyanosis, narcosis and respiratory paralysis. Dangerous intolerance reactions and increased absorption occur through the simultaneous action of disulfiram, tirchloroethylene, tetra-chloromethane, nitrobenzene, carbon disulfide, aniline, lime-nitrogen, arsenic, lead and mercury.

General InformationProlonged and repeated contact with solvents over a long period may lead to permanent health problems.
InhalationVapours may cause headache, fatigue, dizziness and nausea. Vapour may irritate respiratory system or lungs.

Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. Pneumonia may be the result if vomited material containing solvents reaches the lungs. Narcotic effect.
Skin ContactActs as a defatting agent on skin. May cause cracking of skin, and eczema. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause severe irritation.
Eye ContactIrritating to eyes. Vapour or spray may cause temporary (reversible) eye damage.
